Tell us your side of the story and let your clients make a well-informed decision. We're not here to profit from unproven rumors and/or lies. Help us make a difference. Click Here to submit your response Beware of sites and so called reports that do not understand international dating and do not take the time to investigate the websites or people who they allow to post on them. You will find out that that there is no concern for the people who they are informing and therefore pretending to protect from scam and fraud. These so called scam agencies and websites claim to provide a service to help others stay clear of scams, while claiming that their sites or recommended sites are "scam free". Research has shown that most or all of the companies blacklisted are never allowed the opportunity to tell their side of the story or resolve the issue directly. The dating agencies are denied the opportunity to address and/or resolve their client’s complaints because it is impossible for the defamed dating agency or the defamed lady to clear themselves and set aright their reputation. Well, why should you, the client care? Because not addressing all sides of the story is misleading and overall, deceiving. Is it only possible that Russian ladies and Russian agencies lie? Is it completely impossible that at times, miscommunication and misunderstandings occur between two people thousands of miles away and speaking different languages? Even if all of the scam stories out there are absolutely true, there are two sides to every story, right? So therefore, one would have to ask, why not post both sides of the story? What we have found is that sites that use this one sided or "herding" tactic (scaring the clients away and then directing them to the recommended "safe" sites), are being paid or receive commission from the dating agencies they're endorsing. This is called Affiliate Marketing. Affiliate Marketing 101
Affiliate Marketing is when companies pay commission for individual advertisers to recommend their products or services on the advertisers websites. Keywords (words consumers use on Google, Yahoo and MSN search engines to find whatever they’re looking for) are used by the advertiser to attract customer’s to their site.
1) For example, let’s say Joe Schmoe, an average run of the mill type of guy, is a consumer and has been a member of XYZ Dating Agency. And now for some reason, Joe Schmoe is curious about XYZ Dating Agency. 2) So he goes on the internet and types the keyword, “dating agency scam”, in his Google search engine. 3) Now ABC Scam Agency uses the keyword, “dating agency scam”, as a keyword to advertise their site. 4) The next page displays all the Google results for websites using the keyword “dating agency scam” and at the top of the list is ABC Scam Agency. 5) Naturally, Joe Schmoe is going to select the link that will now bring him to ABC Scam Agency’s website. This is Internet Marketing 101. And Internet Marketing has made quite a few people very good money. Next time you go to your web browser and Google the word, “cell phones” or “glasses” or whatever, and you see all the 4 line ads displaying the results of your search, you will now know that each and every one of those ads was either written by an Affiliate Marketer or someone who works for the company selling the product. All of these advertisements cost money each time someone clicks on it. So whoever wrote the ads wants as many visitors as possible converted into paying customers.
Which brings us back to these scam report sites. Are the moderators of these websites really looking out for the publics best interest only? Uploading and providing content for these sites? Keep in mind that these sites have to be updated month to month. Sites that don't why read old or outdated information? Do these sites have actual customer service? Who is answering the very many emails they must receive from clients? How do they maintain the sites and keep them at the top of Google rankings (this is not an easy task)? How do they pay web content and graphic designers, if any? How do they pay IT (technical) contractors and/or employees? Building, editing and maintaining a website takes an incredible amount of time and costs money. So who is paying for his time? And who is paying for his site? Who is paying for the employees and/or contractors helping them with the site? And as mentioned earlier, who is paying for the advertising? Now there are blog sites that are ran with a single person as most blog sites do, but most are ran for the purpose of generating income. Well, it is not a coincidence that when visiting these sites, that you find banners and links posted on each page, advertising the services of the dating agencies they recommend. Neither is it a coincidence that when clicking on any of these banners or links, you will be redirected to the dating agency’s web site. If you purchase a membership or service from that dating agency, they receive a commission from the dating agency for referring you, the client. So now, is there an ulterior motive to these so called scam sites? Are they really concerned about empowering clients with knowledge - OR – are they just another marketing ploy designed to lure clients to use the services of those dating agencies that are endorsing them for client referrals? Clients, believing these sites as an objective 3rd party scam agency, will trust these recommendations, not realizing that this is all a game – the good old fashioned “Bait and Switch”. With that said, Yes, there is scamming going on out there. There are dating/marriage agencies and young ladies involved in scamming. But the scam agency has a responsibility to AVOID SCAM! Should men be scammed in his search for looking for a wife internationally? No!!! Should the ladies in various regions of the world sincerely looking for a husband be scammed, having her name and picture posted all over the internet without the opportunity to explain her side of the story, ultimately resulting in her chances of finding and meeting her husband permanently hindered? NO!!! Should dating agencies, most of which are small business owners with the genuine desire to provide a way for couples to meet and marry, suffer libel and slander without a possible chance of redemption? NO!!! And why? Because when you don’t provide services to all parties involved, you are not providing the whole, complete, unbiased story! So let’s face it. In order to protect yourself from scamming and the companies and/or people that allow it, is to hear and investigate the WHOLE truth and let the client make the decision. The Better Business Bureau is also paid by companies who become members of the BBB.
