Tommy (Germany)Report N3 (added on March, 23, 2005)
Another typical scam. within 2 weeks of writing, ready to come visit me but needs help to do it.
Very informative with the costs to make the visit. She forgets she had written to me several months earlier and even dares to speak that I should not deceive her and I should completely put trust in her.
In my introduction letter I clearly stae I report any known deceit and through out my letters I always make reference to the fact how I have reported other women for their scams and that I hate lies. She continues totally oblivious to that.
I have made many enemies among women scammers and yet the persist.
She answers very few of my questions yet proclaims such love for me to chance a visit in very short period. I give her every opportunity to bow out of correspondence before I lay the trap of saying "OK you can come and I will help". I do this to get additional information that can be posted that otherwise I may not get. and I am always getting photos. Read the letters yourself and judge.

I am an American, mid 50's. divorced. I work in the communications industry.
This woman approached me in mid December, under the name Marina (A/K/A Marinka, Marinaksa) Krestyaninova. She found me on Sladurana.com. The first few emails were very basic and benign. But quickly came to a head within one week professing much love. Many of the letters she sent were very similiar to those, with different names and occupations, as I have seen posted previously. She has also used the name Elena Volkova which I have seen in several of you communications. She also uses the email address marinaksa@mail.ru with an address in Irkursk. (Karla Marksa, 34, Irkutsk).
I will send you the other photos I have have plus copies of some of the letters. These are the ones she sent me.
This woman is all over the internet, on many, many websites. I will tell you that I have been successful in having her profile delted on many of them, where the webmasters were actually interested in trying to keep thier sites clesn. But it is impossible as she crops up all over the place. She is one of the major players.

If its not the real Elena i would love to meet the woman in the picture.
I suspected a scam on this one from word go but played along and then something made me do a copernic search what a brilliant search engine and it found heaps of exactly the same letters i enclose she never answers a question and as yet but that is two mails away has not asked for money of course when she realises the scam is exposed she will be knocked down by a car and need urgent money for medical bills or her mother will.

I was contacted by Natashsa I believe from Cupid Bay.
Lately she has suggested that she could get a job in a furniture factory (dangerous chemicals) to make extra money for a computer to contact me better.
Bruce (Canada)Report N11 (added on April, 14, 2005)
Elena originally had contacted me through Yahoo Personals by leaving a message in my inbox in my Yahoo Personal's mailbox. Elena had written to me that she was looking for a serious relationship for marriage. Will, I begin to think here we go again, but I remeber in what your stop-scammer website had explain that not all Russian women were not all scam artists. So, I begin to correspond with Elena by e-mail, chatting with her in yahoo messenger with a web cam. Eventually, Elena wanted the relationship to develope more quickily. I said to myself, Here I go again, and I better watch out for a scammer. Elena and I corresponded reguarly as usual. Then Elena had an Uncle who worked at Alina that could handle her visa and air travel to travel to me in the U.S.A. I had contacted Alina, and they had told me that they never heard of Elena or her Uncle. Because her Uncle never had worked for Alina. Elena had also told me that she did not correspond with other men, but she uses three e-mail addresses that I am aware of in writting to me. So, I started an alter-ego to see if she would respond to another e-mail address to another man. Of course, Elena had started to send e-mails to that alter-ego address in looking for a serious relationship as well. Even when she is still waiting for me to be with her. Boy, I thank your website in giving these idea in catching a scammer, but Elena's nothing but a scammer. Elena even had send me her video of herself, and did a strip tease show over the internet to catch my attention for her. It takes more then a sexy body to hand my money to a scammer for nothing. Thank you for everything, and I am in still contact with Elena. To see what else she is going to do next. I am still looking for the right lady, but I keep getting the wrong ladies so far. I'll just keep looking.

It started as friendly chat, developed and later wanted to come live with me. I said that I would visit her, but she said it would cost too much if she returned with me and that she ould fly to SA. Then it was money that had to be sent to her for visa, interview and medical.Total required was 0 included travel to Moscow. I contacted Russian Consulate in South Africa and queried this. What was required was 0 for visa only. Next she insisted that she had checked locally and had to go to Moscow. She sent bank details ,but not in her name as she only needed my details and deposit reference and could collect by producing her passport.
Extract follows:
"I had today long talking in agency of travels. I should reserve my visa in Moscow. To me also are necessary will to pass medical inspection and to give interview in embassy. I should go in Moscow. I will need to pay $ 150 for the visa. To me are necessary will to pay money for a road to Moscow and for medical inspection. I need $ 450 for this purpose. I should have $ 600 for reception of my visa. I have no own of the bank bill. To me have said that you can use western union care of money. Has been emailing me for the past week, although not asked for any money yet but I started to wonder if it was real after the photos looked too good. And all seemed a bit far fetched.
Then today got another email in my yahoo in box saying exactly the same wording but for a different email address, it was then when I typed her name in that I found this web site, and found a letter that was sent to someone else that eas worded the same as mine.
Matt (UK)Report N28 (added on August, 16, 2005)
Got a letter from Irina on DatingDirect, and she requested to write with me by e-mail instead. After a few letters she told me that she loves me, and wants to marry me. She also began to send me more and more sexy pictures. I got a bit hesitated by her "love stories", since it sounded a bit too untrustworthy. I also started to get suspicious about her, since she hardly answered any of my questions or commented on my letters.
Because of my suspicion, I started searching for her on the internet and found her at http://www.stop-scammers.com/ as Elena Volkova. The 3 reported letters from Irina Russkih to Gary Dillon (UK) are almost 100% entical to the first 3 letters I got from her.
Even though she has written about 10 letters to me, she has then (not yet) asked for any money. Maybe because I have been a bit cautious about her and not responding her letters with too much romantic enthusiasm. But I guess that it would just be a matter of time. I might continue writing with her a bit to see who she will carry out her scam. I will of cause not send her any money though!

After a few days that she hooks you and flowers you with her enticing photos., she'll ask for about 0.00 for passport and visa and health shots etc. She'll ask that you western union the money to a bank or agent. the agency she refers to as charging for the visa promises a 2 week assurance on visa results. When I asked she fax me a copy of her id and birth certificate she squabled and never did.She stopped wriring back to me. Luckely I did not send the funds. it was very enticing.

Hi,I met her on the site, she contacted me, was only looking for penpals. First letters were poetic and long; after the 5th letter, she wanted to marry me, it seems, I was the one, but I wanted to know her better, then she wasn't so pleased, with that, and messages became very short. Then she wanted to me to come over to Moscow, but she had a problem, she couldn't pay the account in the internetcafe anymore, it was already more than 230$. When my reaction was that it couldn't be possible that the account was so high, because the messages were short, so it had to be to other people as well, then suddenly no response.

This one started e mailing me a week ago, and has already asked for money for a plane ticket to the US. She said she was on her way to the states already. She left her hometown of Cheremkhovo, near Irkutsk, and went to Moscow to begin her trip to the US earlier this week. Once she was there, she said she didn't realize plane tickets went up in price because of oil prices, and needed 960 US dollars to make it here to live happily ever after with me. I told her a sob story about a motorcycle accident I was in, and said I had no money because of this. I wonder if she'll still e mail me?

Jessey (USA)Report N51 (added on December, 20, 2006)
I spotted this girl almost instantly as a scammer. Too young, too pretty, and too quickly suggested she wish to visit me.
She did write very long and detailed letters. And told a very realistic story or her life and family. She is good in that respect.
So, I waited. I knew plane fare was going to be the issue. I suspect all along that she really lives in Moscow.
I knew what she was... so I play the game with her for awhile.
When I finish this letter to you.... I will send to her a fake Money Control Number ...which appears to be from Western Union. At least I will cause her some troubles... for her lies.
I am sure the image of her passport is fake...
Thanks,

She is a serious scammer trying to get access to your bank account, pretending to want to pay money into it through her 'uncle' who lives in 'your' country. This money is supposed to pay for a ticket to 'your' country from St Petersburg.
I challenged her and she shrugged it off and disappeared.
She operates from at least 2 sites.
She may be involved with parties who access bank accounts and then withdraw large sums, as a typical Nigerian 419 scam. If you don't know it, read about it on the 419 Nigerian Scams on the Internet.

After a few mails a 'translation service' called 'the alliance' (Lugansk, Oboronnaya St, 52, alliance2005@list.ru , +380506236609,Olga Vernikova )contacted me asking for payment for their service. I asked an Ukrainian girl at work if agencies like this exsist in the Ukraine, who confirmed this, and checked all scammer pictures I could find, together with name and e-mail address but couldn't find anything at the time. I was still not completely trusting but transfered 50 Euro, just to see, corronsopndence became very nice and I made more transfers, in the end transfering 250 Euro for and international passport (costing 30, as I found out later)
In total this joke has cost me about 2000 Euro, out of which most went to arranging for a visit to Lugansk and only 25% to the actual scammers. My enthusiams to visit Lugansk after this happened is zero so all money spend on traveling arrangments is wasted as well.
I have evidence in the form of Western Union e-mail and more then 100 e-mails from this scammer and myself to proof this.

Usual story. Falls in love & wants money for visa, etc & to visit me.
She was on anti scam.org site & when I mentioned this to her I never heard back from here.
Unfortunately I deleted the last two of her letters asking for money when I sent you the information on another Ludmila who was trying to scasm me at the same time.

This person is on the site under the name of: RuthlessLilly10 on flitomatic - She has been sending me emails, to my personal email, stating thatshe lives in: Russia and her parents died many years ago. She now lives with her uncle. She has sent me several emails and has told me that she has fell in love with me and would like to come to the United Kingdom, as soon as possible, so we can share our love! She has also stated that, she can raise most of the funds, but is struggling to raise the travel insurance! She then goes on to ask for my help to pay this, so we can be together! She claims that the travel insurance is: 870USD, yet we all know that travel insurance costs no where near this amount! I am still currently emailing her, to see what her responses are to me stating that, at the moment I am unable to get the money to help her! I have no intention of sending anything, as I am not prepared to get ripped off in this way...

This woman sends a spam email stating that she is looking for a friend. Once a reply is made, she claims that she is a divorced woman who is looking for a permanent relationship with someone from another country who will treat her fairly. She then sends a number of friendly emails along with some photos, and then she makes demands for items - in this instance, a phone and a sim card.

She is spontanously writing you and she is a gourcious girl. She sends a lot of (sexy) pictures and after 2 days she is telling you that she is coming to your town. First she have to make arangements in an agency in Moscow and after a few days she tells you that it is too expensive and ask you if you want to get her some money so that she can come to you... the rest is... you will never hear from her again...
Ronald (Netherlands)Report N69 (added on January, 11, 2008)
Sends prewritten e-mails saying how much she wants to be with you and sucks you in then tries to get to pay excessive monies for supposed flights to your country to be with you. I didn't fall for it but she had me starting to feel sorry for her. Things just didn't add up and the more curious i became and investigated further i got the scarier it became !
My virus system picked up 3 trackers on my computer monitoring my business !!

Approached me as Natalya. Did a letters database search and found duplicates of her letters attributed to Elena Voronina. I do have two photos but they are not the same person as the photos you show of Elena Voronina, but the letters attributed to Voronina are also signed by Natalya.
