Report N1 (added on May, 7, 2005)
Answered my profile, perhaps on FreePersonals.
Everything was convincing. She and I wrote daily for more than a month, long letters. Hers were machine translated, but she answered all my questions and responded appropriately to all my letters. They were not form letters, but personally written. She even declined my offer to pay her computer expenses at the Internet cafe.
She asked for money for a visa. I told her I didn't mind sending her some money, but not to waste it trying to get a visa. I told her that if she was scamming me, it was a cruel way to make a few dollars. I knew there was a better than fifty-fifty chance I was being scammed, but I had fallen hard. As I say, she is very convincing.
