Report N1
This girl found me on Yahoo Personals and was acting very happy that I responded to her e-mail. She said she loved me after a few e-mails and and wanted to get married. She then told me she needed 0.00 for a visa and medical insurance. That's when I got suspicious and checked out her name on Google and found this web site.
Mark (USA)Report N2
Met Irina through Yahoo personals. Exchanged emails for about 1 month. She had not asked me for money, but I believe she was about to.
She said she had a friend that could help her with obtaining a visa.
Obviously, a visa is not so easy to get. I found her pic on several other sites using different names and ages. Her pic was also posted on several scam blacklists. She did answer my questions and is very good at personalaizing her messages. She even took a picture of herself with my pic on the computer screen in the background. I received over 23 emails in one month with no mention of money. I sent her an email and told her of the other sites and her name on scam blacklist. She stopped communicating.
John (USA)Report N3
Never talked about anyone with a real name. Talked alot about trust.
Glenn (USA)Report N4
All the letters sound real enough, but thank God I found your site. I am lucky that I didn't have any money to send. It is a classic Travel Scenerio 1 scam. I was disappointed. It will not be easy to trust Russia women now.
Terry (USA)Report N5
Typical 'I've finally found my soulmate' deal after a letter or two. Finally broke off communication after I kept asking for a more personalized picture, rather than a staged model-shot. Never got around to asking for money, but in 'her' last letter, talked about an upcoming vaction, and the visa procedure to come and visit the US. I would guess the funds request was next.
John (USA)Report N6 (added on March, 23, 2005)
I got contacted by her. Took 4 letters before she professed her love for me. I've had a bunch of these Russian Scammers try and work me.
I'm going to see how long until she try's for money. See if I can get some more photo's from her, I haven't got the topless one you have on this website. She sends two pictures each letter. Even got one of her cat, Murka.
Doug (USA)Report N7 (added on April, 2, 2005)
Hi Friends!!
Don't be confused about this scammer, she is not the "real" Ekaterina Smirnova listed here, her "modus operandi" is so different. First, she send a mail without pics or any kind of profile thru Yahoo Personals at your Yahoo mail, and then, when you responds, she start sending very longer mails about the Travel Scenario 1 "She Wants To Visit You".
Her letters are always in English but looks like an jigsaw !!, her English is so bad!! and she is constantly asked you about if you understand everything in her letters,!! maybe preparing you for send her some money to take a language courses!!! (and believe me..she need it...urgently!!)
This "pretty" scammer I think is new in the system because I can't find her (I mean, her pics) altough her name is already listed !!, take care friends!!
Actually I don't break the communications with her in fact I'm waiting "impatience" her next mail... because she don't ask me about sending money or something like that. I want to know more about her "playing tactics" and maintained at yours well informed !! (let's to see who's more smart!!)
Already I have 6 longer mails and 6 beautiful pics from her, if anybody saw her or was contacted, report here inmediatly!! she looks like an "indefense kitten", but I think she's a Lion with shepper skin...
Please help others to stop that scammers, there are many honetly men like me looking for a real hapinness with a real partner. Don't let the scammers break down their lifes!!
If anybody want to contact me, please send a mail to: Rob Wolcott

Rob (USA)Report N8 (added on April, 2, 2005)
Tatyana contacted me through an ad on Yahoo personals. I was curious and replied and she seemed extremely happy to be in touch with someone in the US. After a few emails she said she started to grow fond of me and it escalated from fondness, to love, then wanting to get married all in the span of about 3 weeks. The problem came when she needed 0 to get a visa to travel to the US. Luckily I was on to her game from the start and played along just to see how she would hit me up for the cash.
Had I not seen a link to this sight while looking up info on Kazan, I might have fallen for some of her BS.
Roger (USA)Report N9 (added on April, 2, 2005)
I have only been in communication with this girl for just under 2 weeks, and she has not yet asked me for money, but now that I've seen her here, I don't plan on continuing long enough for her to do so. I just thought I'd send a couple more photos for you to post if you want, and perhaps this is a new identity and e-mail. I don't ask anything of you for this, I simply thought you someone might benefit from this information. So far I have received 4 messages, and all seem relatively tame, with no mention of money yet.
Bruce (Canada)Report N10 (added on April, 6, 2005)
I was scammed out of 3,000 bucks last year.
William (USA)Report N11 (added on April, 14, 2005)
I want to let you know so you could ad this to the names that this girl is using. She has tried to scam me and she is now using the name of Alekseeva Elena It all started out as an innocent thing, just emailing. The it progressed within just a couple of letters to I love you, then I want to be with you, then we must meet, and then the scam, the request for money. I am still stringing her alone seeing just how long she will go before she gives up. I figured if she can waste my time, why not waste hers!!!
Doug (USA)Report N12 (added on April, 14, 2005)
Obviously to good to be true scenarios should be researchd, so I'm glad this page is here to find.
I just wanted to add that she's still going.
Brian (USA)Report N13 (added on April, 30, 2005)
This is a very beautiful young woman. She sends different photos with each email. After about 10 letters she claims that she can no longer live without you. Then she claims to go to the US Embasy and writes that she has bad news, that about 0 is needed to secure a visa. In all of the photos she is very well dressed, and she claims that she is working every day. however, when it comes time to pay for the visa she claims to be broke.
Greg (USA)Report N14 (added on May, 26, 2005)
She started to write me, but as soon I answered her letter in russian, she stoped to continue contact me.
Jean (Ecuador)Report N15 (added on May, 26, 2005)

Dale (USA)Report N16 (added on June, 15, 2005)
This woman contacted me two months ago, and today finally asked for money. Of course, I will NOT send any but I did want to notify your site about her criminal activity. Hopefully, she will be prosecuted for what she has done to others.
Please find attached all of her photo's send. In reviewing your site today, I see Alena has been a very active scam artist. Hopefully, no for much longer as the authorities arrest her.
Michael (USA)Report N17 (added on June, 15, 2005)
Exact same letters as a previous poster, word for word. Wants 0 sent by Western Union to Tomsk. It took 2 weeks from the first e-mail to ask for the cash for a Visa.
John (USA)Report N18 (added on June, 15, 2005)
I don't get any personal info, just sappy love notes. Wants money for visa & trip to Moscow.
Keith (USA)Report N19 (added on July, 1, 2005)
This girl has been sending me E-mails since About June 1, 05.
Very convincing, and I believe she wrote to me as another girl from Kirov, Russia, and then told me she was insulted that I had replied. She wants me to send 0 for Visa, etc. to GAZPROMBANK KOSAREVA, 33 TOMSK , 634036. I have not yet informed her that I am aware of the scam; I would like to know if I should keep her in touch, for any reason.
Jeremy (USA)Report N20 (added on November, 11, 2005)
She began writing on 7/29/05. She sent her last letter on 9/16/05 and up to that point had never asked for money, but she had talked about getting her VISA and passing the Medical Examination. She claimed to work in a military factory as a lab worker. She had no family as her mother died four years ago and her father abandoned them when she was a baby.

I get in contact with this girl on a site on Internet.
She sends me many mails with very nice letter telling me all about her and her family.
After some mail we decide to meet and she wanted to come to Sweden but she didn't have money to go here.
We decided that I should go to her and that she should help me get an invitation and Visa and for that she ask me for 100 Usd that I send to her over Western Union.
But when she gets the money she didn't replay my mails and I have not hear from here since then. I try to send mail to her but I think she block me.
Regards,

This girl is very good. she reads all letters and answers most questions. ip address in marie-el using dial up and her saying she is from ryazan was a red flag. also that she contacted me on match was another. luckily her name came up on google or i may not have suspected anything for awhile. hasn't asked for money yet but i'm sure it's coming.
thanks!

This little lady first contacted me at that site, her 1st email was a dead give away,by the end of her 3rd email i never replied so she never got to ask for funds etc.
Marc (Australia)Report N27 (added on October, 30, 2006)
She contacted my on cupidbay months ago under natalia name and 21 yo, then without photo she contacted me again on cupidbay and again with another name on cupidbay, really stupid, never read my letters.
Penazzo (France)Report N28 (added on October, 30, 2006)
Tatyana contacted me through myspace. I'd quickly register to look at something particular and had left the personal details as default which meant single. But I hadn't added any information about myself at the time Tatyana contacted me. I was immediately Suspicious because in her first two letters she said how much she liked my profile and how compatible we were which was complete rubbish because as I've said I hadn't wrote anything on it.
Karl (England)Report N29 (added on October, 30, 2006)
I am not sure if she is a scammer or not but the pictures she sent have a lot of resemblence to one of the girls on your site known as marina kushakova.
Hank (USA)Report N30 (added on November, 22, 2006)
Typical visa/ticket scam- I was contacted with an e-mail on A.S. - I responded via e-mail to the address she gave and received the first letter which I recognized as one of the cut/paste pre-written letters that I have seen a hundred times over. And once I saw the photo, I knew for sure. These pictures are all over the scammer blacklists.
Jessey (USA)Report N31 (added on March, 6, 2007)
This snake got me good. I was innocent to all these scams scenarios. Other girls tried before but this one worked all the way to gain my trust. I was looking for real love so I guess I was weak. My mistake was to go out of the USA. Ekaterina or Marina (the way they called here) said was an elementary school teacher. To have a father and a brother called Andrey. This snake was in contact with me for more than 2 months and I fell directly on her net. I lost a lot of money with her, so much that when I see the amounts that other people mention here I have no other choice but to laugh. She got me good and with a very considerable amount of money. She is a professional. I sent her a last message: I will get her soon or later it doesn't matter what it takes. I complaint to the Russian Consulate, but I guess I will have to update the information with her real name, which I find out here on this site. She has a Russian Passport from 2005 and an International Passport from December 2006 which make me believe she will use more the name of Ekaterina Sibagatullina because she has these documents with that name. Unfortunately the International Passport she got it with my damn money. How can we put this bastard behind jail? If anybody knows please tell me edjim@att.net. I would like to post the passports in this site so let me know what I have to do to have them posted.

contacted me via myspace, wanted to believe in it, sent me about 4 mails whith usual stuff, asks money to travel, immediately falls in love, lost her father, nice mother, plays innocent and erotic contents in her mails, I should send you her photos I think.
She managed to get much infos about me so i'm slightly worried.
