This scammer first contacted me on March 22, 2005. This scam developed quickly. After only 3 letters within one week she had fallen madly in love with me and said that a travel agency would contact me with details about her coming to see me and how I could pay for it. I was not
asked to send money to the woman but received an e-mail the same day from a travel agency called Wings Travel Agency (wings-travel@narod.ru) saying they were acting on her behalf and I should send them 6 to cover visa, passport and airfare. They said they could have her on a plane to me by April 10. They said I could transfer funds from my bank to theirs, or I could send it by Western Union or Money Gram addressed to an individual
named Vladimir Islamov in Ufa. The supposed travel agency had an official looking e-mail with the name and logo at the top. It listed a web site address for the agency. When you went to it, it looked extremely elaborate and genuine. If you did not know better you could be fooled. When I compared the internet headers of the E-mails from the woman to that of the travel agency, they both came from the same place and had identical IP addresses.

Sent money for plane ticket and needed additonal monies to pass through customs!! even called me on the telephone!!! Will use the travel agency WINGS it does check out but that travel agency does not exist!!! The pictures are NOT REAL!!! All of my letters were exactly like the ones mentioned in this scam. Unfortunally I found out too late also!

Wanted to come to usa and be my wife. sent money to wings travel agency for airfare. then tried to get more money for customs approval.
