If you have your profile on the internet (even an American site) you must be careful; there is a proliferation of "scammers" out there. I would venture to say that a lot of these are run by men posing as women. So, consider that fact that you may be writing to a man. I have gotten many replies and most of them ask for money on the second letter.
Such is the case with "Leila" She wrote to me out of nowhere and her letters come in a MS Word attached file. On her second letter she asks me to send money to pay for her letters and even tells me to send it via Western Union, as you can read in her letter.
